Measuring your dog

1. Back lengthwhile standing, measure from where your dog's neck meets his shoulders (oftentimes where the collar rests) to the base of the tail. Back length is often times the measurement referred to as the dog's "size".

2. Chest girth = measure around the largest part of your dog's chest. This is usually located just behind the front legs.

3. Neck girth = measure around where your dog's collar sits. As with collars, use the 'two finger' rule: you should be able to easily fit two fingers under the tape measure.

4. Waist girth = measure around the narrowest part of your dog's body. This is usually located just behind the rib cage.

It is important to make sure your pet's neck girth is within this range. After adjusting the fit for your pet, it is possible to cut excess strap material away.

This piece of clothing is designed to sit the entire length of the back in order to perform correctly in rainy or cold conditions. It is advised to pick sizing according to the back length to ensure good fit. If your dog is between sizes, we would recommend taking the larger size.

-Chest measurements indicate the range (cm) within which it is possible to adjust the strap going around the dog's body. It is important to make sure your pet's chest girth is within this range. After adjusting the fit for your pet, it is possible to cut excess strap material away.

-Neck measurement indicates the girth range (cm) suitable for the coat collar. The collar is designed to be generous in order to provide large range of motion for the head. The fit will be good even if the collar girth would be 20cm larger than your pet's neck girth.
