Aurora, Brace and Dipper size guide

Measuring your dog

1. Back length = while standing, measure from where your dog's neck meets his shoulders (oftentimes where the collar rests) to the base of the tail. Back length is often times the measurement referred to as the dog's "size".

2. Chest girth = measure around the largest part of your dog's chest. This is usually located just behind the front legs.

3. Neck girth = measure around where your dog's collar sits. As with collars, use the 'two finger' rule: you should be able to easily fit two fingers under the tape measure.

4. Waist girth = measure around the narrowest part of your dog's body. This is usually located just behind the rib cage.

Note:

-Back length indicates the length range (cm) of the pet that is suitable for the jacket. This apparel does not have to sit for the entire length of your dog's back. This piece of clothing is primarily designed for reflective/protective/cooling purposes, which is why it does not have to cover the entire back of your dog. It is advised to pick sizing according to the chest and neck measurements in order to ensure good fit.

-Chest measurement indicates the girth range (cm) within which the jacket will fit your pet around the chest. It is important to make sure your pet's chest girth is within this range.

-Neck girth is the most important measure when picking the right size of the jacket for your dog. The neck measure indicates the girth range (cm) within which the jacket will sit nicely around the pet's neck.

-If your dog is between sizes or one of the girth measurements is very close to the jacket's girth measure, we would recommend taking the larger size.
